5 Alternative Ways to Use Your Coffee Scrub
So, you have finally gotten into the habit of using a coffee scrub and are loving the results right? You skin is softer and firmer, cellulite is diminished and you have even been able to shelve that sticky body lotion for good!

How to: You want the scrub to be as soft as possible, let the jar soak in warm water for a few minutes. Then, grab a spoonful of scrub and warm it up further in your hands. Slowly and carefully begin to spread it over your face, massage it in softly - might as well exfoliate a bit while you're at it. Let it sit for 15-20 minutes. You might feel a bit of a tingle, no worries, that's your circulation waking up! Once time's up, simply rinse and go about your normal skincare routine as usual.
Eliminate Eye Bags and Dark Under Eye Circles
The increased circulation that coffee brings when applied topically can be used to improve your under eye. Puffy bags or dark circles got you looking tired and sad? I use this trick ALL. THE. TIME. Between allergies, cold season or just a late night Netflix binge can make my under eye just so dark and obvious. I just apply a bit of coffee scrub to my under eye and after 15 minutes my skin is less puffy and much brighter. A perfect addition when you want to rock a no makeup look!
How to: As in the face mask, here you want the scrub to be really soft so you want to soak the jar for a few minutes in warm water. Once it's softened, take a spoonful and a little at a time, gently tap it onto your under eye until you get a nice thick layer. Make sure to not get too close to the eye. follow your eye socket as a guide and do not go above it otherwise you risk getting scrub in your eye... if it should get in your eye rinse for several minutes with cool water DO NOT RUB. Let sit for 15-20 minutes and then rinse with cool water.
Help grow hair and fight dandruff
Caffeine has been proven to increase hair growth when applied to the scalp. I have seen shampoos and hair care products lately with caffeine added. The caffeine stimulates circulation creating energy. This energy stimulates the hair follicles helping to grow thicker, longer hair.
Meanwhile, coffee scrub can also be used on your scalp to help fight dandruff as well! Coffee has the same pH as your skin, it actually helps calm down irritated skin and scrubbing frees your hair of those annoying flakes. How to: Spread a thick layer of coffee scrub to desired area. Wrap cling wrap (Saran Wrap for example) over the scrub and leave for 45-60 minutes. Rinse off.
